The Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President shall have responsibilities in the following areas:
The Executive Vice President shall be chosen by and serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors may, on behalf of ASHP, enter into a contract with the Executive Vice President with such terms and for such fixed period as the Board of Directors deems reasonable and in the best interests of ASHP. Failure of a person to continue in the office of Executive Vice President will not affect contract rights, except as the terms of that contract may so provide.
This is a hybrid position that requires candidates to live in the Washington, DC area and be present in the downtown Bethesda, Maryland office as needed.
